I truly believe that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  If a person trains hard and has an “I can do” attitude, in life as well as the Martial Arts, they can attain the level of Black belt.  As an instructor, I believe that you should have a passion for people and this passion can help improve people’s lives.  The bond of sweat is strong, this allows students to become training partners as well as friends.  I’ve had this passion for the Arts for many years (since 1986) and have had many friends and instructors to influence my Martial Arts journey.  Some of my instructors include Grand Master Conde, Ed Rivard, Master Apolo, SBN Bobby Ladra, Mr. Tommy Lee, Master Chris Yi, Ms Rhonda Weeks.  Thank you all for the impact you have had on my life.

Proverbs 27:17

The bible says that when people of a like mind interact, they sharpen one another.  I have received blessings from all my past instructors, as well as fellow students today.  My personal goal is to try to enjoy the talents God has given all of us, some obvious, some not so obvious.  I would hope God would use me to encourage people, strengthen their resolve, and allow them to focus on their calling in Him.  In this way, the name of the Lord might be glorified in all we do.  He alone is worthy.
